Hello, Once again we see each other my dear students! I hope that this module
caught your interest. This module will guide you to learn more of shorthand.
We know that shorthand writing makes our notes taking easier in much time. It
is very helpful not just in school but also at work especially when you work for a certain
boss.
In this module, your knowledge on shorthand will be enhanced and it will never
too hard for you to distinguish the proper strokes.
I'd like you to read intently the examples representing sounds, word endings,
brief forms and phrases and other examples in this module.
You can also try to read this together with your classmates or friends to make it
more enjoyable. But you need to answer the self check in your own understanding and
knowledge without looking with the work of your classmates to see if you had fully
understand the lesson.
Remember that you don’t have to memorize all of the words with its strokes, but
all you just have to do is to understand fully and learn the strokes itself and what it
represents. I hope that you will enjoy learning with his module.
Self Check:
Direction: Transcribe the following sentences into shorthand.
Activity:
The activity of this module is that the class will be divided into 2 groups. Each
group will choose at least five representatives. The first 3 members of each group will
compete from each other. Each member of 2 groups will be the first to turn around for
at least 5 rotation and they will walk as fast as they could from the end corner of the
room up to the front desk. There are pieces of paper in the table that has words and
sentence that they will transcribe in shorthand at the board. After transcribing, the
other member will be the next to do so.
When there are only 2 members left from each group, they will go in front and I
will give a paragraph written in long hand and while the other member is reading, the
other is writing in the board its shorthand.
The group that can finish the tasks wins the activity.

manufacturing companies tomorrow. This meeting should include items that are
