Experiment 1.1(b)

Eureka Container Piece of Stone

1) Take an object that can be inserted into the eureca container, such as a piece
of stone. Determine the mass of this object.

2) Fill the eureca with water until it overflows through the funnel.
 3) Make sure also the mass of the empty be taken before the experiment was
conducted.

4) Insert the object into eureca container. Make sure the displaced water
overflows into the beaker under the funnel eureca.
5) Measure the volume and mass of displaced water.
