    Description Soda Ash is a white, granular powder used to soften and condition make-up
    water and raise pH. By softening the water, Soda Ash helps maximize the
    performance of the bentonite or polymer and speed up hydration reducing
    mixing times.

    Characteristics
     Appearance: White to Tan Colored Powder
     pH: 11.5 in 5% solution
     Bulk Density: 57 – 65 lb/ft³

    Application Check hardness and pH levels prior to the addition of Soda Ash. Add Soda Ash
    prior to the addition of bentonite or polymer product. Use 1/4 to 1/2 pound per
    100 gallons of make-up water. When treating make-up water, pH levels between
    8.0 and 9.0 should be established and maintained.

    Packaging Soda Ash is available in 50 pound multi-walled paper bags.
