ESSAY ABOUT HOW TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Experts has explained a lot of times that the only way to solve traffic problems in cities is to improve public
transport. Along this essay we are going to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the public
transport, private cars and another problems that could appear.

For years, public transport has improved a lot but there is not enough. If you live in a city like Barcelona, it is a
very good idea to use the public transport because we can go at every moment to every place of the city.
However, public transport has some problems in villages because the combination of schedules is not very
good and this problem increases in the weekends.

In the other hand, if we go by car it is not the best option. By this, we contaminate more the environment and
sometimes we could have problems to park the car. Nowadays, there are some cities that are limiting the use
of private cars with some simple rules that the drivers must to respect. This way, we reduce pollution and the
problems that could cause the traffic.

Even though, if we have to use public transport instead of our cars, maybe the government should do
something to improve this and give facilities to the people who use it: pay less, more hours, more or better
communications at all points in the city and to other cities…

In conclusion and from my point of view, people have to try more and more to use of public transport and go by
car if it is necessary or eventually. Apart from that, I believe that the government have to improve this if they
want that people use it.
