understand the gist before reading.

Objective:

Students will listen for places and prepositions to understand directions using a map.

Resources:
Track 21 and transcript one per student, index cards labeled with places from the
Pineville map, one set per small group.

Before start the lesson we are going to review the prepositions of places.
Then we are going to do the exercises 1 and 2 from the pg 39.

about the story and they are going to complete the exercise number 2 in the page 37.
