BRIEF ABOUT ME - THAKKAR NIRAVKUMAR MAHENDRABHAI

Life is a journey, to get into more and more reforms of learnings. I believe that we have to grow our
skills by time and age. It is well said and believed that one who has excelled or mastered with one form
of knowledge should never stop, he shall keep the momentum of learning up to the mark. This world
has gone through lot many phases, today we are into technological era. This inspires me to innovate
new ideas to help the under-privileged people by helping gain education and exposure towards the
technology. My life is dedicated to serve the humanity and be opportunistic.

My early childhood was always to develop things which can function by logics and firmly execute the
operations of the computers. This lead me to develop interest in the interface which can compute
maximum and can give user the desired results. My goal and intention was never monetary,
I am always interested to deliver the society something which can be useful for the upbringing and
betterment of world. During my masters in computer applications, I designed few programs which can
be helpful for the poor and can be used at ease without any heavy data transfer. My thoughts and
ideas were appreciated by lot of government officials. This led me to get in contact with some real
leaders who were equally putting their effort for the betterment of nation and humanity. As it is well
said by Mahatma Gandhi,” Be the change, you want to see in this world”. I strongly believe in this
thought and found a group of people working zealously for the betterment of others.

Everyone in this human race have different things to chase, and to grow in life one has to be the
facilitator. Being the part of one of the fastest developing country of world, I was involved in the
developments and programs initiated by the government with a goal to educate the poor and reach
them using technology. When I participated in the project known as “Cyber Kitley- Village Cyber café”,
to develop the rural livelihood for Women SHG and digital empowerment to villagers, where we went
to the villages and provided internet facility and guided them about its utility. Such participations in
government projects broadened my horizon to explore more ideas to reach out more number of
people in the given time.

Some responsibilities are taken for granted by many people, which sometimes becomes alarming for
the hygiene and good living conditions. After my masters, I joined a National Health mission-
Integrated Disease surveillance program under the District Surveillance Unit Ahmedabad as a
Data manager. Thereby, one of the project which we did using technology was,” Swasthya samvedna
Sena” a mobile application for the health workers. This project was to contribute in reducing maternal
mortality ratio and infant mortality rate by increasing skill of health workers to impact health rated
information using latest technological devices and digital IEC material for health education.

It was a great experience while spreading the education system, by one of the broadcasting channel of
government namely,” BISAG” (Bhaskaracharya Institute For Space Applications and Geo-Informatics),
the satellite educational platform and can perform the video conferencing at multiple locations to
provide education at remote locations where quality faculties are not affordable. Such graceful
development made me curious to contribute with new innovations and carry further projects to make
myself useful in uplifting the society.

This inspired me to study, the course of Entrepreneurship and Innovation to excel in the field of serving
the world. I strongly believe that proper way of presentation and right approach can guide me taking
my social projects to so better platforms. Hence, I look ahead actively learning this field to someday
work for a greater purpose of living being.
