Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman, what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

Thinking about my efforts and experiences since I was a freshman, somes ways I've

evolved as a student is that I have become a lot more responsible. I have learned that if you want

a good grade you really have to put in the work and manage your time wisely which is something

I didn't know when I first got to high school. I have also learned to take responsibility for my

actions. When I was a freshman, if I got a bad grade on an assignment I tried to think of excuses

and looked for other people to blame but myself.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

Looking ahead, I need to work hard and do whatever I can to prepare myself for the future. That

means applying for scholarships and attending college workshops to find out more information

about the admission process.
