Model Competition

‘Farm to Fork’
Your group’s model should represent the farm to fork process by showing the journey food
takes from growing in a field or being produced on a farm to ending on your plate. Your group
could choose one food to represent or a selection of different foods.

Prizes
1st Prize – A selection of exciting prizes for your school and tickets to the Great Yorkshire Show
on Thursday 11th July.
2nd Prize - £50 Voucher
3rd prize - £25 voucher

Judging
The models will be judged on each day of Countryside Days, please bring your model with you
and deliver to the steward in reception (Hall 1) when you arrive. At the end of the day please
visit reception to see if you have been awarded a prize. The models placed 1 st to 3rd will be
exhibited at the Great Yorkshire Show therefore if your model receives a rosette please leave it
with us, otherwise you may collect your model and take it back to school.

Competition Rules
 Schools can enter one model per class who are attending Countryside Days
 The model can be a two-dimensional plaque or a three dimensional model
 The model should be made from recycled material
 The model should not exceed 1m x 1m x 1m
 Please ensure your model is stable so it can be moved easily.
