PARTS AND FUNCTION OF

MULTITESTER

1.POINTER or NEEDLE- indicates the values read from the scale

2. SCALE- shows the value of what is being measured
3. ZERO (0) ADJUSTER- points the needle to the 0 at the left side of the
scale
4. ZERO OMH ADJUSTER- adjusts/ positions the needle to the right side
of the scale
5. RANGE SELECTOR KNOBS- allows changing the function and scale
6. RANGE- allows more accurate measurement for small values
7. POSITIVE (+) TERMINAL- connects the positive probe to the multimeter
8. NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL- connects the negative probe to the
multimeter
9. POSITIVE PROBE- used to connect to the positive circuit or device
under test
10.NEGATIVE PROBE- used to connect to the negative circuit or device
under test
