Every experience makes us grow, some problems are to
be solved by our knowledge but some problems are to be solved only by our experience. My training at Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija as an on-the-job trainee is great I learned a lot of things and this strengthen my skills and knowledge.
During my On-the-Job Training, I realized that
problems in life are like problems in work, we must search for the best solution. We couldn’t solve it without co- workers, co-trainees and employees. It’s like the saying “No man is an island” in other words, we couldn’t live only with ourselves we need the help of other people to overcome the problems in life, and that’s what actually Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija had, the success of the company is their teamwork that is why they always reached their quota.
During the days of my training I’d familiarized what
are the transactions in the office was and I also learned how to communicate with different kind of people.
I enjoyed applying what I have learned inside the
classroom and outside the campus, during my training in the company of Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija. I am also thankful to have finally overcome my fears of being afraid to disappoint other people. I know now that it’s okay if you fail in the beginning, after all and it is a part of the success and most especially part of growing up. Experiences are the best teachers indeed! I’m also happy to be part of this compnay. As a trainee, they expect us to be like them, act like a professional, be on time, do your duties well, and be responsible. So in the near future I’ll apply those things that I
learned during my OJT time. I am thankful for that kind of experience. “Training prepares you for the real job” As what other people say. And I was able to prove that. I enjoyed my 600 hours training in Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija Service Department. It was an experience full of fun and different lessons.
My Experience with the people around me:
Meeting new people can be a complicated procedure,
because there are different types of people, a different people have different attitude and behavior, but the staff within the department I have encountered with was very considerate. They were all approachable that is why I was able to adjust easily
The person that admire the most in that company is the
Service Admin Ma’am Jocelyn, the person who taught me how to do all the transactions in the office and how to deal with different people, she’s nice because she can do whatever task the manager gave to her and she can do her work efficiently. Ma’am Jaby also taught me how to sell car accessories and Ma’am Venus the cashier of the company also taught me how to do all the transaction of cashier she allow me to do Official Receipt (OR). I’m very thankful that they treat me like them and they trust me with my work. In every task they are willing to offer their help and guidance to improve my knowledge, skills and confidence.
I appreciate so much the working environment I had
within the company because it helps me absorbed what I need to know. College of Management and Accountancy Business Practicum
The most memorable event during my practicum:
Spending my 600 hours at Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija
Service Department will be my most memorable moment during my practicum. My training is far from being a student, my daily routine has been changed into something unusual for me. I have to wake up early in the morning to prepare myself for the long day ahead, and give out the best upon my working hours.
The first day in Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija was very
memorable to me because the warm welcome of all the employees, that is the reason why I was able to adjust easily. That time I have no idea on what task is I am going to do. My most memorable event during my practicum is my last day in Suzuki Auto Nueva Ecija, because me and my co- trainees have a one-on-one question and answer about what we have learned from the company with Sir Jr the manager of service department to get our certificate of completion and luckily we received our certificate a proof of successful completion of our on-the-job training.
Things end, but the memories last forever.
What I can recommend for the Improvement of Practicum
Program:
This practicum program was really helpful to all
student trainees to empowered or develop the skills and knowledge of the students. But the one thing that I would like to recommend is to have a twice Visiting during the on-the-job training of the students, the first visit is the first month of the trainee in the company and the second visit is on the last week of the trainee in the company to College of Management and Accountancy Business Practicum
get observed the real performance of the trainee from the
beginning up to last.
My advice to those who will take their practicum in the
near future:
My advice those who will take practicum in the near
future is that just always be responsible in the tasks given to you. Always know how to manage your time and the very important thing is that be yourself, be confident and always take your problem as a challenged because every problem have a solution.
