Evaluate the harmful effects of tobacco use:

Narrative
In my class I will introduce the topic and then inform them of the harmful effects of tobacco use. Then I
will show the video that covers the harmful effects of tobacco use. During the video the class will be
attentively listening and taking notes on the different effects of tobacco use covered in the video. After
the video I will split the class into 6 groups and give each group an effect of tobacco use. Each group will
investigate the effect and present to the class about their harmful effect. After every group has
presented, we will review over each effect and make sure everyone has the correct information.

Narrative:

In my class I would present the topic to the class and go breifly over whay the video will be going over
and what they should be paying attention to. The students would watch the video and take notes or
attentively watch the video. The video discusses how to choose the right foods to eat, what to look for
in foods, and how to effectively diet, as well as discusses the differences between hunger and appetite.
We will discuss what should be on my plate and the differences between a fruit, grain, carb, protein,
vegetables, and dairy. I will split the class into two groups and one student will go to the board from
each team. A picture will pop up and the students will have to determine whether it’s a fruit, grain,
carb,protein, vegetables, and dairy. Which ever team finishes first and gets it correct gets a point, there
will be double point rounds so either team can catch up if one falls behind.
