“AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE BARANGAY VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

AND THEIR CHILDREN (VAWC) DESK OF BARANGAY POBLACION, CULABA,
BILIRAN”

WHEREAS: This ordinance shall be known as the Ordinance Establishing the Barangay Violence
Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Desk.

WHEREAS: in the interest for a more effective delivery of basic services and for the promotion
of general welfare, it is absolute and necessary to established the Barangay
Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) Desk.

Section 1. Functions

1. Formulate plans, programs and policies for children that are gender based violence to
protect women and children against abuse relevant and responsive to the needs of the
victims.
