RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUNONG BARANGAY ALAN E. ESTRADA TO ENTER INTO

A MUTUAL PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (MPA) WITH THE OPERATION &
MAINTENANCE GROUP, REPRESENTED BY ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT MANUEL
NEQUIA, MUNICIPAL LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT (MLGU) OF IGBARAS, ILOILO
REPRESENTED BY MUNICIPAL MAYOR VICENTE E. ESCORPION, JR. AND
DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD), REPRESENTED BY
REGIONAL DIRECTOR, ATTY. CARMELO N. NOCHETE FOR THE OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP SUB-PROJECT.
My
WHEREAS, Barangay Buenavista, Igbaras, Iloilo is a recipient of Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan -
Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services National Community Driven Development
Program Additional Financing (KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP – AF) of the Department of Social Welfare
and Development (DSWD);

WHEREAS, Barangay Buenavista through the Barangay Development Council – Technical Working
Group (BDC-TWG) implemented the subproject entitled “Purchase of Pre and Post Harvets Equipment”;

WHEREAS, the DSWD, the Municipality of Igbaras, Iloilo, the Bagacayan Farmers Association, and
Barangay Buenavista are entering into a Mutual Partnership Agreement to ensure the sustainability and
functionality of the aforementioned sub-project;

WHEREAS, there is a need to authorized Punong Barangay Alan E. Estrada. to enter into a Mutual
Partnership Agreement;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of _____________________________________________________ be

RESOLVE, as it is hereby resolved to authorized Punong Barangay Alan E. Estrada to enter into a
Mutual Partnership Agreement (MPA) with the Operation & Maintenance Group, represented by
Association President Manuel Nequia, Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of Igbaras, Iloilo
represented by Municipal Mayor Vicente E. Escorpion, Jr. and Department Of Social Welfare And
Development (DSWD), represented by Regional Director, Atty. Carmelo N. Nochete for the Operation
And Maintenance of KALAHI CIDSS-NCDDP Sub-Project.
RESOLVED FURTHER copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Department of Social Welfare and
Development Field Office VI and all concerned for their information and appropriate action.

I hereby certify to the correctness of the foregoing resolution which was approved by the Barangay
Council of Barangay Buemavista, Igbaras, Iloilo during its Barangay Council Meeting
on October 15, 2023.
