“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY APPROPRIATION OF 1%

CHILDREN’S PROTECTION PROGRAM OF BARANGAY DEAN LEOPOLDO
YABES (PUG-OS) SINAIT, ILOCOS SUR.”
“WHEREAS, the barangay adopted a certain 1% of their budget allotted for children’s
welfare;
“WHEREAS, it is the policy of the state to uphold the peoples constitutional rights to
life and property by addressing the need of the need;
“WHEREAS, 1% of the estimated revenue from regular sources shall be set aside for
Local council for the protection or needs of children;
“WHEREAS, upon careful deliberations, all programs presented by the barangay, the
Barangay council set aside the 1% Children’s protection program in accordance with their
budget;
“WHEREAS, the amount set aside as 1% Children’s protection program for

Supplemental feeding program is THIRTY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY
SEVEN PESOS AND 06/100 (Php 32,687.06).
“NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Barangay Kagawad Vernaflor D. Ibatuan , duly

seconded by Barangay Kagawad Geraldine R. Malupeng . and the Barangay Council of
Barangay Pug-os in a meeting duly assembled;
“RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to adopted the 2023 1% Local Council for the
Protection of Children.

“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1% SENIOR CITIZEN PLAN AND BUDGET FOR

CALENDAR YEAR 2024 FROM THE NATIONAL TAX ALLOTMENT CY 2024 WITH
AN APPROPRIATION OF ₱32,687.06 OF BARANGAY DEAN LEOPOLDO YABES
(PUG-OS) SINAIT, ILOCOS SUR.”
“WHEREAS, it is a concensus to the welfare of the senior citizen and PWDs in the
community;
“WHEREAS, the body allocate funds for the senior citizen organization for them to plan
what they want to make it to the said funds;
“NOW THEREFORE, upon motion and duly seconded by the body covered be it.
“RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt the 2024 1% senior

citizen/PWD funds in the total amount of Php 32,687.06 for them to make plan what they want
to disburse it.
“RESOLVED FINALLY, this resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.

“WHEREAS, it is a concensus of the workers of the Barangay.
“WHEREAS, the body allocate funds for the child development workers, BHW laborers
for them to live;
“NOW THEREFORE, upon motion and duly seconded by the body in its meeting duly
assembled; .
“RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt the 2024 GENDER AND

DEVELOPMENT (GAD) PLAN AND BUDGET funds amounting to ONE HUNDRED
SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND EIGHTY FIVE PESOS AND 30/100 ( ₱165,085.30 ).

“WHEREAS, th Barangay adopted a certain amount of their budget allocated for the
implementation of Barangay Peace and Order ;
“WHEREAS, it is the policy of the state to update the peoples constitutional rights to life
and poverty by addressing the needs of Barangay Peace and Order;
“WHEREAS, an estimated amount of revenue from regular sources shall be set aside
for Barangay Peace and Order;
“NOW THEREFORE, upon motion and duly seconded by the body in its meeting duly
assembled; .
“RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt the CY 2024 budget for the

Barangay Peace an Order;

RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE ANNUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

FOR THE YEAR 2024
WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council had come into one for the purpose of
taking the projects to be prioritized this year 2024.
WHEREAS, the projects are to be implemented in accordance with the suggested time
and specification set by the body in a meeting duly assembled.
WHEREAS, the following to be funded by the 20% Development Fund of 2024 are as
follows;
1. Drainage of Canal – Purok Snatan ₱70,000.00

2. Drainage of Canal – Purok Waterlily 70,000.00
3. Drainage of Canal – Purok Villa Flores 70,000.00
4. Construction of Flood Control 70,000.00
5. Concreting of Barangay Road 70,000.00
6. Estalishment of Botika ng Barangay 53,741.20
7. Improvement of Evacuation Center 40,000.00
8. Additional Installation of Streetlights 140,000.00
9. Improvement of Multi-Purpose Hall 70,000.00
TOTAL ₱651,778.40
RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, the appropriate the said amount

intended for the programs and projects listed above.

“WHEREAS, RA 10121, also known as An Act Strengthening the Philippine Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management System, Providing for the National Disaster Risk Reduction
and Management Framework and Institutionalizing the National Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Plan, Appropriating Funds Therefore and for Other Purposes, states that the
barangay must strengthen its disaster risk reduction and management;
“WHEREAS, it is the policy of the state to uphold the people’s constitutional rights to
life and property by addressing the root causes of vulnerability to disasters;
“WHEREAS, Sec. 21 of RA 10121 states that not less than 5% of the estimated revenue
from regular sources shall be set aside as Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Fund (BDRRMF) to support disaster risk management activities such as but not limited to pre-
disaster preparedness programs including trainings , purchase of life saving rescue equipment,
supplies and medicines, for post-disaster activities and for payment of premiums on calamity
insurance;
“RESOLVED ,as it is hereby resolved to adopt the 2024 BDRRMF of the BDRRMC to
wit :
1. DISASTER PREVENTION AND MITIGATION PREPAREDNESS (70%) 115,559.71
2. DISASTER RESPONSE, REHABILITATION AND RECOVERY (30%) 49,525.59
