RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM FOR FY 2024

OF BARANGAY PUG-OS (DLY), SINAIT, ILOCOS SUR

WHEREAS, the Annual Investment Program serves as an instrument to provide

budgetary support to the Barangay Development and Investment Program (BDIP) that translates
the barangay’s development priorities into tangible programs, projects, activities and services;

WHEREAS, in satisfactory compliance with Art. 182 of the Implementing Rules and
Regulations (IRR) of the Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of
1991 which states that “every LGU shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan
to be initiated by the local development council and approved by its sanggunian”, the Barangay
Development Council (BDC) in consultation with the various sectors present in the barangay,
has identified, evaluated and prioritized the proposed programs, projects, activities and services;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council has incorporated the prioritized

development programs, projects, activities and services in the Annual Investment Program for
Fiscal Year 2024 according to the needs, fiscal capability of the barangay and prospective
assistance from higher LGUs and national line agencies;

NOW THEREFORE, the Barangay Development Council, in a meeting assembled, on

motion of BDC Member Kagawad Vernaflor D. Ibatuan _, unanimously seconded, RESOLVED
as it is HEREBY RESOLVED to endorse the Annual Investment Program for FY 2024 to the
Sangguniang Barangay for its approval and adoption;

RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
Sangguniang Barangay and all others for their information, guidance and appropriate action.

RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT

PROGRAM FOR FY 2024 OF BARANGAY PUG-OS (DLY), SINAIT, ILOCOS SUR

WHEREAS, presented for consideration by this Sanggunian is the proposed Annual

Investment Program of Barangay Pug-os (DLY), Sinait, Ilocos Sur for Fiscal Year 2024;

WHEREAS, the approval and adoption of the AIP is needful as it serves as the basis for
funding of several programs, projects, activities, and services of Barangay Pug-os (DLY) which
shall be supported and implemented through the enactment of a corresponding Appropriation
Ordinance;
WHEREAS, after thorough review and perusal on the matter, this august Body finds that
the programs, projects, activities and services reflected in the Annual Investment Program are
absolutely necessary in the upliftment of the lives of the people;
NOW THEREFORE, the Sangguniang Barangay, in a session assembled, on motion of
Sangguniang Barangay Member VERNAFLOR D. IBATUAN, unanimously seconded,
RESOLVED as it is HEREBY RESOLVED to approved and adopt the Annual Investment
Program for FY 2024;

RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
Barangay Development Council and all others for their information, guidance and appropriate
action.
