RESOLUTION NO. 045 - A

Series of 2019

RESOLUTION REQUESTING HONORABLE GOVERNOR HERMILANDO I. MANDANAS FOR THE

CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE II OF FOOTBRIDGE AT BRGY. TABANGAO AMBULONG BATANGAS CITY

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Tabangao Ambulong identified the said project in order
to better serve and create an accessible way for the constituents of the barangay especially to
Sitio Proper Riverside area;

WHEREAS, the said project is one of the priority projects of this barangay, however it cannot be
realized due to insufficient funds;

WHEREAS, Phase I of the said Project was already constructed and currently need to continue the
construction for better and safer access as well as disaster preparedness;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay are requesting our Honorable Governor Hermilando I.
Mandanas and his good office for the Construction of Phase II of Footbridge at Sitio Proper
Riverside Area Tabangao Ambulong Batangas City;

NOW THEREFORE, in motion of Councilor Julian E. Pentinio, duly seconded by Councilor Teodoro
S. Andal, be it;

RESOLVED, as it hereby approved that this body now assembled in session, TO RESPECTFULLY
REQUEST THE HONORABLE HERMILANDO I. MANDANAS, GOVERNOR OF BATANGAS for
the Construction of Phase II of Footbridge at Sitio Proper Riverside Area, Tabangao Ambulong
Batangas City.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.

HEREAS, the Lower Quirino Hill Barangay has an existing alley from Lampac to Ortiz residence at Purok
2 of this barangay, however, said alley is not used due to the absence of stairs and railings;

WHEREAS, the barangay council identified said project in order to better serve and create an accessible
pathway the constituents of the barangay especially to Purok 2 residents;

WHEREAS, said project is a priority project of this barangay, however it cannot be realized due to
insufficient funds;

WHEREAS, as there is no appropriation for this project, the Sangguniang Barangay resolved of seeking
the assistance of City Offcials of Baguio;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of all, duly seconded, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that this body now assembled in session, TO RESPECTFULLY
REQUEST THE HONORABLE LEANDRO B. YAÑGOT, JR., CITY COUNCILOR OF BAGUIO TO FUND
FROM HIS LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FUND AN AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND
PESOS (Php 150,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ALLEY STAIRS WITH RAILINGS AT LAMPAC
TO ORTIZ ALLEY, PUROK 2, LOWER QUIRINO HILL, BAGUIO CITY.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their
information and appropriate action.

Dear Hon. Cynthia A. Villar:

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!

Our Barangay is one of the largest Barangay in Batangas City. It consists of six (6) Sitios;
Sitio Silangan, Sitio Ibabao, Sitio Bulihan, Sitio Batis Itaas & Ibaba, Sitio Palacios and Sitio Proper,
and with a total number of registered voters of 5,297 as of 2018.

The Sangguniang Barangay always thought of the convenience and security of the
residents and as much as we want to urgently provide every Sitio a good and concrete barangay
road, we have no sufficient fund for the said project. We also approached this to our City mayor
to ask for help but as well in our Barangay the City have no enough funds for it because there are
still projects, they are doing and priorities.

In this regard, may we please request to your good office to please help our barangay
especially our people by providing and allocate fund for the overlaying of Barangay Road of Brgy.
Tabangao Ambulong, Batangas City. Attached herewith is our resolution approved by the
Sangguniang Barangay.

Your favorable action regarding our humble request will be highly appreciated.
