Firstly, I would like to express my indebtedness appreciation to my Dr Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh,

Internship coordinator, and Mr. Zahid, student coordinator for the guidance related internship.

I am indebted to Mr. Janjua, Works Manager, Mr. Shyk sheikh, Asst. works manager, to allow
me as internee in his esteemed organization. It was very good and highly skill learning
experience for me to have worked with this organization. I also like to thank Mr. Shakil
Ahmed, Foreman CIR, Mr. Haider Ali, Assistant Foreman RM shop for their guidance related
to diesel electric engine and different systems of locomotive.

I would like to thanks all the Foremen and staff of the shops i visited during my stay at CDL
workshop. It was a wonderful experience. All the staff of CDL workshop was cooperative and
skilful. I enjoyed learning during my internship.
