Description Activities :
Project is based on SIaM-Service Integration and Management Model where
Post office is a client for many suppliers.
Handling Bulk import of records into the CMDB.
ATOS responsibility is to conduct Verification and Audit of central CMDB
which has the collection of data moved from individual suppliers and working
towards Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
Our job is to keep “Clean Data” in central CMDB which is accurate, complete
and up to date accompanying necessary KPI’s.
Ensuring completeness and integrity of information collected to conduct daily
operations.
Establishing measurements and targets to improve process effectiveness.

Description Activities :
1. Virtualization of Servers, Switches and Routers through registering those in
BMC Atrium tool and which is called as Configuration Item (CI).
2. Assuring that Configuration items are complete and generating alarms.
3. To report the correct CI status and follow and established
reporting/escalation procedure when the CI status falls below the threshold
level.
4. To help Support Groups to get complete, accurate and up-to-date
Configuration Item information and also monitor & maintain.
5. To provide CI inputs to dependent systems (Cramer / Amdocs) from CMDB
CI Data perspective.
6. Performing CMDB Data Cleansing activities, which includes reporting the
support groups about wrong and incomplete CI items by running scheduled
reports.
7. To get clean configuration data (no duplicate CIs, correct Manufacturers,
correct Product names etc).
8. Generating various inventory reports as requested.
9. CMDB Meta Data Creation.
10. Resolving Service requests in “CMDB Librarian queue” of Amdocs
Application and compliance for the SLA defined based on the priority of the
request.

Lot of money in suspense (not accountable) due to stuck policies.
Customers service team were facing lot of problem while providing stuck policy
information to their customers on time.

1. Root cause analysis documents were prepared during analysis phase and
implementation is done in parallel to fix the problem in production.

review the root cause analysis and technical solution documents delivered and
implement the same fix and do a one round of testing and test the fix on the cloned
