REPORT ON CONDUCT OF 2017 FIRE PREVENTION MONTH

MARCH 17-31, 2017

I. INTRODUCTION

In line with the observance of Fire Prevention Month 2017 with the theme “ Buhay at Ari-arian
Pahalagahan, Ibayong Pag iingat sa Sunog ay sa sariling Pamamahay Simulan.” And in comliance to
DepEd Memorandum 69, S. 2017, our School Sampaloc Elem. Was conducted Fire drill and Safety
lectures for learners and School Personnel.

II. OBJEVCTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY

To enhance knowledge and skills of school personnel and pupils incidents, and to acquire
knowledge and techniques of first aid basic life support.

III. NARRATIVE REPORT

In response to the Fire Prevention Month held annually during March, Sampaloc Elem. School was
conducted an orientation for teachers and pupils regarding Fire Prevention, The activity would not
materialize with out the helf of_______________March 31, 2017, at exactly 2:00 pm the activity was
started. After the orientation each section was guided by their respective advisers on what they are
going to do in times of accidents wherein they tackled about fire dril. The Facilitators demonstrated the
basic first aid acts for different injuries. They also discussed the different phases of fire drill as follow,
Alarm, Response, Evacution, Assembly, Head count and Evaluation.
The Fire Drill was participated by 7 teachers, 1 Head Teacher, and ___ pupils from grade one to
grade six.

IV. PROBLEMS MET

* Lack of materials and equipment needed during calamities and disaster.

* Lack of materials needed for discussion.

V. RECOMMENDATION

Because of the problems met during the conduct of fire drill, the school have the ff:
recommendations:
1. Equipment and materials must be provided for the school to be use during drill.
2. Availavility of additional first aid supplies is deemed important by the school to make more accurate
in case of emergencies.
