RATIONALE
Stuffed toys are the most common plaything to children ages 2 to 12 years old. They will
also consider it as their "best friend", they’ll give it names, play with it, eat with it, and even sleep
with their stuff toys. Teddy Bears are the most common stuffed toy. Being a best friend to a child
is the mission of teddy bears, but what if, children can also learn from teddy bears?
The most common thing to teach to toddlers until pre-school is how to differentiate colors.
3 out of 10 children cannot differentiate colors. Some children do not have any apparatus to teach
them what color they are looking at on a daily basis. So, this project will allow them to have a best
friend teddy bear at the same time it can teach them how to comprehend colors.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Most children ages 2 to 5 years old are difficult to teach basic colors with because in this
stage of childhood, they seldom talk or not at all. With this, children cannot pronounce words
properly.
For this problem, we propose a project that will allow a teddy bear toy to be a teacher to
children that can teach them colors and pronunciation at the same time a best friend they can
play with.
