TC200 Installation Guide

The System is mostly shipped in two boxes. After you unpack the two boxes, please
confirm receipt of each component listed on the packing list and that there is no apparent
damage. Please report any damage at once to Tecom Science Corporation or our
representative in your domestic. After that, please follow our installation procedure as
below:
1. Before installing TC200 chemistry analyzer, please ensure that your working condition
meets the following requirements for optimal performance:
(1) Optional Computer System: Windows XP SP3 operating system or better, Intel
Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon, 40 GB Hard Drive, 1GB RAM, 1xCD-ROM drive
(2) Bench Space: At least 15cm of space should be available on each side of the
instrument. In addition, an area of at least 60cm should be available behind the
instrument for servicing purposes.
(3) Power Outlets: 220VAC with voltage fluctuation of ±10%, 50/60Hz, good
grounding
(4) Temperature and Humidity: 10-35℃, 90%RH without condensation

2. Place the analyzer on the flat and stable bench, then take water and waste buckets out
of the box, you will find the alarm assemblies are installed on the buckets respectively.

2.1 Fill distilled water into the water buket, and then insert the metal terminal of distilled water alarm
assembly into the water socket at the left side of the analyzer (Picture 3) , which is designed for the distilled
water alarm. After that, insert the metal terminal of waste alarm assembly into the waste socket, which is
designed for waste alarm.

Tips: The air plug (Picture 3) is designed for the pressure release of the water tank ( Picture 4) which is
assembled inside the analyzer.

2.2 Take water tube and waste tubes out of the box, then connect water tube to the distilled water inlet
(Picture 5) and put the other end of the water tube inside the distilled bucket; connect two waste tubes to
the waste outlet (Picture 5) respectively and put the other end of the waste tubes inside the waste bucket.

2.3 Take RS232 communication cable (Picture 9) and RS232 to USB converter (Picture 10) out of the box,
and then check if the computer is furnished with the serial port (Picture 11), if the serial port is available on
the computer, then use RS232 communication cable (offered with the analyzer) to connect the analyzer to
the computer directly, if the serial port is not available on the computer, then RS232 to USB converter has
to be used for the connection of analyzer and computer via RS232 communication cable, see picture
twelve.

2.4 When RS232 to USB converter is used for the connection of analyzer and computer, its driver program
must be installed on the computer so that the computer can identify the converter. After installation of the
program, insert 2 reagent bottles in No.1 and 26 reagent positions of reagent chamber respectively, and 2
serum cups in No. 1 and 18 sample position of sample chamber. Connect the power supply to the analyzer
with power cord, and switch on the analyzer and cooling function. (Picture 13), then loosen the air plug
(Picture 3) to release the air pressure of water tank. The sound of adding water into the tank can be heard,
then tighten the air plug after 30 seconds.

2.5 Run software disk and copy the software, then paste it on the computer. Unfold the folder and click the
icon then click to enter into the folder. Click the icon to run the software
of the analyzer, the window (Picture 14) prompts. Then input the password “Admin” and click the button
“ok” to enter it.

2.6 Click “MAINTENANCE” > “Initialization” > “Initialization” to order the analyzer to perform
initialization (Picture 15).

2.7 After finish of initialization, observe if the cuvette is passed through by the light source is No.11, if not,
then adjustment of the position of cuvette should be done to make sure No.11 cuvette in the center of light
source. Loosen the two screws (Picuture 16) on the cuvette disk marked in yellow color, remove the cover,
then loosen the three screws (Picture 17) marked in green color. Adjust the position of No.11 cuvette and
make sure it lies in the center of light source, then tighten the screws and put the cover back to the cuvette
disk, after that, tighten the two screws (Picture 16).

2.9 Click “MAINTENANCE” > “Instrument Settings”,, input the password “999” to enter into the setting
menu, click “Cuvette” > ”Test” > “Deep” > “Test”, the probe should move into the center of cuvette
(Picutre 20) and probe tip is 3mm distance from the bottom of the cuvette, if not, change the corresponding
value of “Cuvette” and “Deep” to adjust the movement position of right-and-left and up-and-down; Click
“1# Sample” > “Test” > “ Deep” > “Test”, the probe should move into the center of No.1 sample cup and
probe tip is 3mm distance from the bottom of the cup (Picutre 21), if not, change their values respectively;
Click “18# Sample” > “Test” > “ Deep” > “Test”, the probe should move into the center of No.18 sample
cup and probe tip is 3mm distance from the bottom of the cup (Picutre 22), if not, change their values
respectively; Click “1# Reagent” > “Test” > “ Deep” > “Test”, the probe should move into the center of
No.1 reagent cup and probe tip is 3mm distance from the bottom of the cup (Picutre 23), if not, change their
values respectively; Click “26# Reagent” > “Test” > “ Deep” > “Test”, the probe should move into the
center of No.26 reagent cup and probe tip is 3mm distance from the bottom of the cup (Picture 24), if not,
change their values respectively.
