Before Assessment Day: Good morning sir I am Reynaldo Dumpit the appointed accredited assessor for
computer system servicing nc II. I am here to check if the tools, equipments and facilities are ready.

Sir i have seen that all documents, materials, equipment, were all set and ready. I will be back before 8am
tommorrow for the assessment. Thank you

I’m Reynaldo C. Dumpit, I will be your assessor for Computer System Servicing NC II

I would like to acknowledge the Presence of Eng. Jaime S. GOSE our competency assessmnet center
president and CEO of Lyceum of the East Aurora, Miss Carmela Tunay our tesda representative and Miss
Carla Jandoc our processing officer.

dont worry on their presence beacause they are here to oversee and check if the conduct of competency
assessment is in accordance with TESDA’s prescribed competency assessment methodologies and
procedures. They will not assess you

Before we start, please all rise for the prayer.

I have here your accomplished application form with self assessment guide, this indicates that you can
perform all units of competency enumerated in Computer System Servicing NCII

Orientation

This assessment is to determine your competency. Qualifications to be assessed are the basic, common
and core competencies.

For the core competency we have FOUR

Install and configure computer system

Setup computer networks
Setup computer server
Maintain computer system and network
TASK TO BE PERFORMED AND EVIDENT TO BE COLLECTED
I will collect evidence through Demonstration, oral questioning and written test. This assessment
method can help measure your underpinning knowledge and skills.

DO’S AND DONTS DURING ASSESSMENT

If you have concerns, questions and there’s a need for you to clarify anything concerning the assessment
please asked for I am willing to assist you. Is there anyone here who have physical difficulties? Or difficulty
in understanding the given instruction? Please approach me so that i can assist, explain and translate it
for you.. But once the assessment started please refrain from asking questions because it is no longer
allowed
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
For safety ,please wear personal protective equipments and be careful with the tools that may cause
short circuit. If in case accident occur please call me immediately so that proper first aid will be
administered. In case you need a first aid, we have a first aide cabinet at the right side of the assessment
area.
ISSUANCE OF NC/COC
If you have passed the assessment and you are competent, For the issuance of National Certificate you
can claim it at the Provincial Office after 7 working days. It takes 1 day process, prepare 1 pc passport size
picture white background, with collar and 50pesos processing fee.
REASSESSMENT PROCEDURE
If found not competent- don’t worry about it you can be reassessed anytime at your own convenience.
In case the reassessment is full qualification you have to undergo the whole assessment process.
If found to be competent in some unit of competencies the reassessment will just focused only on the
unit of competencies that you are found to be NOT YET COMPETENT
IF you fail 2 consecutive assessment, you are advised to take a refresher course before applying for
reassessment.
Rights and Appeal system
In case your not satisfied and have questions regarding the assessment results you have the right to
appeal, you can write a letter of your appeal which contains the name of the assessor, name of the
assessment area, nature of complain and sign it then submit it to the TESDA Provincial Office.
CONFIDENTIALITY OF ASSESSMENT OUTCOMES
With the result of your assessment,we observe strict confidentiality this is to ensure your integrity , this
result is only made available to the right personnel and to the institution where you had your actual
training.
Please do not give any form of information that took place in the assessment process.

For your personal needs the comfort room is located at the end of the hallway.
If you want to take your meal, we have a canteen outside the assessment center

Okay candidates i will now administer written test. Read instructions carefully I will give you 30 minutes
to answer.

I am going to give you a copy of Specific Instruction and performance sheet please read them carefully
and if you have questions, please asked it now. I will help you translate it into tagalog. If you need
assistance, I will be more than willing to assist you.
COLLECT THE EVIDENCE AND MAKE THE ASSESSMENT DECISION
C1 this is your assessment area , where you are going to install and configure computer system.
HAve you read the “ Specific Instruction”. Do you have any questions, you may asked it now. When
assessment starts , you can no longer asked. Please be informed that after demonstration there will be
oral questioning.

performed the activity satisfactorily. You diagnosed and corrected defects in the computer system and
networks in accordance with the standard procedures.
Congratulations you are competent. Please sign the rating sheet and competency assessment result
summary as a proof of competence for having demonstrated the required competencies of computer
system servicing. This is also a proof that you accept my decision.
Here is your cars, You can claim your national certificate after five working days at Tesda Provincial Office
Baler Aurora. Dont forget to bring passport size picture. Do you have questions? Again congratulation

NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Candidate 2 Ms. Anne. How was the assessment? I was impress the way you
diagnose and troubleshoot faults in the computer system, However you have difficulties in setting up the
computer server. The remote desktop connection and folder redirection was not succesful.
I am sorry you are not able to perform within the standard requirements of this qualification. You have
to practice the activities within setting up the computer server.
You can comeback after 1 month for reassessment or when you feel confident enough to perform setting
computer server. Dont worry you will only be assessed on the part of the activity that you were found
not yet competent which is COC 3.

result of this assessment.
