Agendum: LAC Session on e-IMPOSE

I. CALL TO ORDER.
The meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM

II. AGENDA

1. Introduction
Mrs. Veless Mhae Santos led the group in the opening prayer.

2. Background on e-IMPOSE
The Principal discussed the during the meeting:
A. The Principal discussed the meaning of e-IMPOSE (Enhanced Implementing
Manual for Purposive Operations for Selection and Evaluation) dubbed as Echo
on Wheels.
B. This manual will be used as the SDO’s guidelines on recruitment, selection, and
promotion.
C. e-IMPOSE came into existence through a Resolution – NV-HRMPSB No. 01,
series 2019 by the Personnel Selection Board (PSB) chaired by the ASDS,
Jonathan A. Fronda, PhD., CESE and approved by the SDS, Flordeliza C.
Gecobe, PhD., CESO VI. The said resolution was adopted on February 14, 2019
at Bagabag Teacher’s Camp, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya.
D. e-IMPOSE is to be named ECHO on WHEELS.
E. Echo on Wheels is part of PRIME-HRM (Program to Institutionalized
Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management)
F. e-IMPOSE will guide the different members of the screening/selection
committee from the division down to the school level.

3. The e-IMPOSE manual


The principal then discussed the contents of the manual:
A. Specific Assessment Rules/Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of
Teaching and Non-Teaching Positions (Level 1) in support of and in accordance
with DO No. 66, s. 2007 (Revised Guidelines on the Appointment and
Promotion of other Teaching and Related Teaching and Non-Teaching
Positions.
a. The following will serve as the criteria for assessing the Non-teaching
Group (Level 1)
i. Performance Rating
ii. Experience
iii. Outstanding Accomplishments
iv. Education
v. Training
vi. Potential
vii. Psycho-social Attributes
b. All the given criteria have corresponding points to be given
c. All the given criteria have specific Governing Rules and Modes of
Verification which can be found in the manual

B. Specific Assessment Rules/Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of


other Teaching and Related Teaching and Non-teaching Positions (Level 2) also
in support of and in accordance with DO No. 66, s. 2007
a. The following will serve as the criteria for assessing the Non-teaching
Group (Level 2)
i. Performance Rating
ii. Experience
iii. Outstanding Accomplishments
iv. Education
v. Training
vi. Potential
vii. Psycho-social Attributes
b. All the given criteria have corresponding points to be given

Teaching Group as per DO No. 66, s. 2007

D. Specific Assessment Rules/Guidelines on Career Progression System for


Master Teachers in accordance with DECS Order 57, s. 1997/MEC Order No.
10, s. 1979
a. The following will serve as the criteria for assessing Master Teachers
i. Introduction of IMs, teaching techniques, reporting systems, and
income generating projects
ii. Service as subject coordinator
iii. Service as chairman of a special committee
iv. Acts as head of an education research activity
v. Acts as coordinator of community project or activity
vi. Acts as organizer of an in-service activity
vii. Meritorious achievement
viii. Authorship
b. All the given criteria have corresponding points to be given
c. All the given criteria have specific Governing Rules and Modes of
Verification which can be found in the manual

E. Specific Assessment Rules/Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of


School Heads, also as stipulated in DO No. 42, s. 2007 (The Revised Guidelines
on Selection, Promotion and Designation of School Heads)

LAC Session on e-IMPOSE

The LAC session started at 3:00 PM with an Opening Prayer which was led by Mrs.

Veless Mhae Santos.

Dr. Lourdes P. Abansi discussed the meaning of e-IMPOSE which is dubbed as Echo

On Wheels. This is SDO Nueva Vizcaya’s guideline on recruitment, selection and promotion.

This project came into existence through resolution - NV-HRMPSB No. 01.

She also discussed the contents of the manual:

A. Specific Assessment Rules/Guidelines on the Appointment and Promotion of

Teaching and Non-Teaching Positions (Level 1) in support of and in accordance

with DO No. 66, s. 2007 (Revised Guidelines on the Appointment and

She also discussed that each group have their corresponding criteria, corresponding

points and Governing Rules and Modes of Verification which can be found in the manual.
