WHAT ARE THE STEPS IN MAKING A HEALTH CAREER PLAN?
1. Self-Assessment
- discover your personal strengths through self-assessments (values, interests,
personality, testing skills, etc.)

2. Career Exploration
- explore different career & work environments through career fairs, online
research, meetings, internships, alumni connections, professional resources

3. Decision Making
- before you decide on taking a career that works for you, you can evaluate and
narrow down your options through listing the pros and cons, comparing your
personal strengths and interests, and deciding which career fulfills both current and
future goals.

- plan achievable goals and develop strategies to reach your goals, organize your

MT Group – Write a newspaper/magazine article about the need to pursue/choose a
health career.
 Filipino Group – Compose a song on how health career makes a difference in
people’s lives.
English Group – Create a poster that will encourage people to choose a health
career.

You will be given 20 minutes to accomplish the tasks.

Objective 14: Reviewed regularly personal teaching practice using existing laws and
regulations that apply to the teaching profession and the responsibilities specified in the Code
of Ethics for Professional Teachers.

According to the Article VIII (The Teachers and Learners) Section 1 of the Code of Ethics
for Professional Teachers, A teacher has a right and duty to determine the academic marks
and the promotions of learners in the subject or grades he/she handles, such determination
shall be in accordance with generally accepted procedures of evaluation and measurement.
In case of any complaint, teachers concerned shall immediately take appropriate actions, of
serving due process.

In this part of the lesson plan, there is a rubric presented and the students are informed
on how they will be graded in the activity based on the rubric presented. Therefore, the
teacher was able to apply what is in the Article VII Section 1 of the Code of Ethics for
Professional Teachers.
