Introduction
A. Review: Health Trends, Issues and Concern in the National level.
Directions: Read the situations in every sentence, and identify the
Philippine laws being violated.
1. Driving while drunk.
2. One of the members of this group died because of suffering severe
physical pain due to inhiation.
3. Bella is only 14 years old who exposed in ex thru online because of
poverty.
4. A company of Melvin cigarette produces their products without
government warning.
5. The car driver caught by the police because of not wearing safety
protocols.

Learning Activity 1:
Directions: Identify the concern health issues that shows in the pictures.
B. Discussion

Guide Questions:
“What are the biggest health issues and concerns that people around the
world face today? List them on the board.

“What is Global Health?


-Diverse health issues, concerns, and trend which call for all nations to
address and act on to promote and protect health of individuals and
groups across boundaries.

Development Activity 2: “Watch ME and Tell”


Directions: Group the class into 6 groups. Watch the short video, pick-up any
details that you can tell about the video with the following guide questions. After
the video is done the teacher will set 3 mins. for group discussions.

Guide questions:
1. What is the health issue being introduced to the video?
2. What are the characters being represent?
3. What do you think are the message of the video?
4. How can it affect the human life?
