SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

During the First Quarter, the teacher was assigned to teach the following subjects:
Grade 11 Empowerment Technologies (GAS A, GAS B, TVL ICT, TVL Carpentry and TVL
BPP), Grade 12 Entrepreneurship (GAS, TVL ICT, TVL FBS and TVL Carpentry), Grade 12
Physical Education and Health (GAS) and Grade 11 Physical Education and Health (TVL
BPP, ICT and Carpenty)

The teacher was able to distribute the following Self-Learning Modules/Learning

Activity Sheets:

Grade 11 Empowerment Technologies 5 Learning Activity Sheets

Grade 12 Entrepreneurship 7 Learning Activity Sheet
Grade 11 Physical Education & Health 10 Self-Learning Modules
Grade 12 Physical Education & Health 4 Learning Activity Sheets

Of these distributed Learning Activity Sheets/Self-learning modules, only

approximately 50% of the total number of students were able to submit their answer sheets
during the first schedule of retrieval.

This could be attributed to the fact that most of the activities in the learning activity
sheets/self-learning modules are essay type and that the learners find it hard to answer the
questions. Some of the activities also included items werein the students needed access to the
internet. Some of the students, especially those with internet connectivity, were able to
accomplish these tasks right away but those without access were not able to accomplish the
tasks. Another reason was because most of the topics were relatively new to them and further
elaboration was needed.

In order to reach out to the students, the teacher conducted online classes via Google
Meet, co-organized an inter-school school, created video lessons and forwarded radio lessons
via the student-teachers’ Faceboook Group Chat.

Aside from that, the teacher also made herself available via FB chat and call and text
just to assist the learners in answering their modules/activity sheets.

To further reach out to the students, the teacher will be scheduling home visitation to
learners in need of guidance.
