Performance Task: Video Demonstration & Reflection Paper (Jam Making)

Goal – to guideviewers through the process of making homemade jam, emphasizing the application of energy and heat
transfer in cooking. Additionally, we aim to engage and inspire viewers by incorporating background music and
encouraging them to create their own logo design and brand name for their jam product. . Despite our best efforts, we
encountered several challenges along the way that tested our problem-solving abilities and pushed us to adapt our
approach.
Role – to serve as knowledgeable guides and educators, leading viewers through each step of the jam-making process
while explaining the scientific concepts involved, particularly energy transfer. The content is designed to be accessible to
viewers of all ages and skill levels, providing both educational value and inspiration for homemade jam making and
branding while also addressing any difficulties that arose. Students had to remain flexible and responsive to unforeseen
challenges, ensuring that our final product met the standards of accuracy and professionalism we set for ourselves.
Audience – cooking enthusiasts, individuals interested in food science, and those looking to explore their creativity
through branding. The content is designed to appeal to viewers of all ages and skill levels, providing both educational
value and inspiration for homemade jam making and branding.
Situation - the video is filmed in a well-equipped kitchen environment, with all necessary ingredients and equipment
readily available. The setting is warm and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for viewers as they follow along

with the demonstration. Despite potential distractions, such as background noise, the presenter ensures that audio quality
remains clear and that viewers can easily focus on the content being presented.
Product- to create a video demonstration of a homemade jam that viewers can learn to make themselves following the
step-by-step instructions provided and viewers are inspired to design their own logo and brand name for their jam product
in a cylindrical container, adding a personal touch to their culinary creations. Additionally, they will create a reflection
paper about the difficulties they encounter in doing the jam maaking video demonstration and how they managed it and
also the effect of noisy environment in recording their video.
Standards – accuracy, informative, creativity, originality, professionalism, engagement, clarity and production quality

Situation - The Bayanihan Bazaar is positioned as a vibrant and inclusive gathering where local entrepreneurs,
traders, and manufacturers converge to showcase their exceptional products. The theme revolves around unity,
community spirit, and empowerment through supporting locally made goods. Entrepreneurs play a pivotal role
in presenting new and innovative products that exemplify the rich tapestry of Filipino creativity and ingenuity.
Product – Advertisement that shows Filipino products
Standards – Content, creativity, melody, slogan/poster and presentation

Physical Education - displays joy of effort, respect for others and fair play during participation in physical
activities (PE6PF-IIb-h-20)
Health - demonstrates ways to build and keep school and community environments healthy (H6CMH-IIc-d3)
Goal - Perform a group game that foster teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and camaraderie among
participants through an engaging and inclusive group game. This also involves encouraging active lifestyles,
social interaction, and overall physical and mental health through movement.
Role - Stakeholders like physical education teachers, community fitness instructors, local health organizations,
school administrators, parents, students, and volunteers play essential roles.
Audience - The audience comprises students, educators, school staff, families, local residents, and community
members. Engaging these groups is vital to creating an environment that values physical activity and
understands its significance in maintaining health and community bonding.
Situation - Physical activities should be organized and promoted within schools and communities regularly.
This could include fitness classes, sports leagues, intramural activities, community walks/runs, cycling events,
outdoor adventure programs, and wellness workshops that encourage movement and exercise.
Product - The product is a tag of war group game.
Standards - The tag of war group game should adhere to the analytical rubric.
