Organs) whose her objective is to caters the young mind of
grade 4 learners to recognize, learn and appreciate the major
organs that work together to make our body functionally
properly.
Additionally, she is also responsible for organizing a detailed
project plan that outlines the project timeline, milestones and
deliverables.

(Briefly describe the innovation in terms of its type, project target, usage or
application, and its significance)

Our body is a very complex structure that needs care. Knowing our
internal organs function is important to keep our bodies healthy and in
shape.
To survive and reproduce, the human body relies on major internal body
organs to perform certain vital functions. When two or more organs along
with their associated structures work together they become component parts
of a body system.

Younger primary learners may have little knowledge about internal bodily
organs but may not fully understand the function or interconnected nature
of these. Grade 4 Science Teacher, Mrs. Jessa May V. Pevidal administered
RDA Regional Diagnostic Test, one of the most least learned competencies are
“How the major internal organs such as the brain, heart, lungs, liver, stomach,
intestines, kidneys, bones and muscles keep the body healthy. Describe the
main function of the major organs- S4LT-IIa-b-2. The grade 4 learners got
72% MPS during Pre-Test wherein only 19 learners passed or got 75% and
above of the items while 36 learners got below 75% of the items. Mrs. Pevidal
alarmed in their results because some of learners are not familiar with the
human internal organs and functions of it. In lieu of the given scenario the
proponents decided to conduct this PROJECT LEGO (Learners’ Explore
Great Organs)

In line with this, this innovation designed to help the selected 30 grade 4
learners of Calumpang Elementary School, Calumpit South District-Division
of Bulacan whose currently enrolled for school year 2023-2024.

Specifically, this innovation’s main beneficiaries are the learners. They

will learn and appreciate their organs and better understand the importance
of each connected organs. While they explore and embark the different
internal organs, they will be enjoyable because of the modernized strategies
and enjoyable games that the teachers/ proponents will utilize to make the
lesson more catchy and retain in their young minds the importance and
functions of internal organs in the human body.

V. Scope of Implementation:
(Specify the Scope: Regional/Division/School)

The project will be conducted at Calumpang Elementary School one of

medium sized school in the Calumpit South District- Schools Division of

services and increasing the competitiveness of domestic goods on the

XI. Methodology
A. Method (Briefly discuss the design)
The innovation will be measured through Pre-Test and Post-
Test Design.
According to Stratton (2019), Pretest is an assessment
measure given to participants before they have undergone some
type of treatment as part of a research study. A posttest is an
assessment measure given to participants after they have received
treatment as part of a research study. A pretest-posttest research

design must provide participants with the same assessment

measures before and after treatment in order to determine if any
changes can be connected to the treatment. A pretest-posttest
design is considered a quasi-experimental approach, which means
the aim of the approach is to establish a cause-and-effect
relationship. In quasi-experimental research, there is no random
assignment, which makes the approach optimal in a field setting.
In this method, proponents will test the effectiveness of an
intervention thru using pretest and post test assessment.
Learning strategies will be implemented too through varied
activities, supplementary materials such as flash cards, charts,
activity sheets and puzzles games.

B. Target Beneficiary
The target beneficiaries are the 30 learners from grade 4 who are
currently enrolled this school year 2023-2024.

Madam:

Greetings of Peace!

We, the undersigned below, would like to seek your permission to allow us
to conduct innovation project entitled “ LEGO (Learners Explore Great Organs)”
in Calumpang Elementary School for the school year, 2023-2024. Specifically,
this innovation project will be implemented on January to April 2024. This
innovation aims to help the Grade 4 learners who are not familiar with the
human internal organs and functions of it. Furthermore, this innovation would
help them in enhancing their young minds to appreciate, value and recognize the
proper functions of their internal organs.
We look forward to your comments and suggestions on the attached
innovation proposal. We hope for your positive response to this request.
Thank you.
Respectfully yours,
