13 Venturing in fruit trees growing has become a profitable job if one puts his/her
full attention and has technical knowledge and skills in planting couple with
hard work and determination.

There are grower who were able to sustain the increasing market fruit
demands. These growers are still in their competitive production of good
quality fruits in addressing the needs of the consumers. Even there is different
seasons in the Philippines, they manage to produce quality products. In your

Types of orchard farms:
1. Fruit orchard – These types of orchards include any facility that concentrate
on the growing tree-bearing fruit such as santol, mango, orange, lime and
avocado.
2. Nut orchard – This type of orchards includes facilities that produce nut such
as, cashew, pecan, walnut, almond, cacao, coconut, and pine.
3. Seed orchard – This type of orchards focusses primarily on growing trees
that produce seeds sold for commercial distribution or resale purposes, then
can be sold to agricultural companies, or used for food production.
