1.0 WORK TENDERED: As per attached annexure – I

4.0 SCOPE OF SUPPLY OF MATERIAL : As per attached annexure - IV

5.0 TIME FOR COMPLETION:

The completion schedule/period for all jobs listed under “Specifications & Scope of
Work” and Schedule of Rates [SOR]” shall be Six [06] Months which shall be reckoned
from the date of issue of "Letter of Intent [LOI]". Work shall be carried out on 'Sundays'
& 'Holidays', and also into 'extra hours', if required as per direction of GAIL.

6.0 CONTRACT VALUE:

The 'Contract Value' shall be as per the 'quoted / accepted rates' in the "SOR",
excluding 'Service Tax' [and 'Cess' thereon], which shall be payable extra at actual by
GAIL. Quantities' shown in the "SOR" are only 'indicative / tentative', and the same may
be subjected to variations in both ways, as per stipulations made in "GCC". The
Contractor shall not seek any revision in the 'quoted rates / prices' on account of any
such variation(s) in 'quantities'.

7.0 SCHEDULE OF RATES [SOR]:

7.1 The "Schedule of Rates [SOR]" shall be read in conjunction with "SCC", "GCC",
"Scope of Work & Technical Specifications" and any other document forming a part of
the Contract. 'Quantities' indicated in the "SOR" for various items are only 'indicative /
tentative', and are subject to 'variations' on both ways, as per stipulations made in
"GCC".

7.2 GAIL reserves the right to interpolate or extrapolate the rates for any new item of
work not covered in "SOR" from the similar items already available in "SOR". All the
works, item-wise, shall be measured upon completion and paid for at the 'accepted /
contracted rates'. In case, any activity, though specifically not covered under "SOR –
Service / Item Description", but the same is covered under "Scope of Work & Technical
Specifications", etc., no extra claim on this account shall be entertained [as "SOR" is to
be read in conjunction with other documents forming part of the Contract].

7.3 All items of work mentioned in "SOR" shall be carried out as per the technical
specifications, scope of work, relevant codes and instructions of the "EIC". The 'quoted
rates' for the same shall be deemed to be inclusive of all costs w.r.t. materials,
consumables, labor, supervision, tools & tackles, overheads, profits, various tests,
inspections, as well as for preparatory, incidental, intermediate / auxiliary / ancillary or
enabling works.

8.0 ABNORMALLY HIGH RATED ITEMS (A.H.R)

In the Schedule of Rates (SOR), wherever the tenderer‟s quoted rates(s) for the items
exceeds 50% of the Owner‟s estimated rate, such rates shall be considered as
