NEC Provides Complete Inspection & Testing Services for Generator Rotors
NEC’s Inspection & Testing (I&T) Services can be a useful diagnostic tool for owners faced with limited internal resources.
These services can be provided at our rotor service facility in Columbus, Ohio or at your site. The examples below represent
the most typical services offered by NEC.
Rotor Inspections
Typical visual inspections include:
• Identification of discoloration, cracking, signs
of movement or other problems on the rotor
body, winding, retaining rings, fans couplings
