Welcome Note:

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone present here to inauguration of State


level seminar on human rights today. Bengaluru law college takes pride in
conducing this one day seminar to open doors of knowledge on very
important aspect of curriculum that is Human rights. We're so glad to have
you all here today, We appreciate your participation! The goal of today’s
event is to discuss importance of Human rights and to achieve this we have
eminent personalities with us today.

It is our immense pleasure to have Honourable Justice Shri D H Waghela,


Chairperson, Karnataka State Human Rights Commission as our Chief
Guest today. Sir, I extend you a warm welcome on behalf college
management, faculty, students and myself, Welcome to you sir. Today is a
great day for Bengaluru Law college to have a esteemed persona like you on
our very first state level event.

Now I take this opportunity to welcome Hon’le Shri Roopkumar Dutta,


Retd IPS officer, Member of Karnataka State Human Rights
Commission as our Guest of Honour. Sir we welcome you to this event and
your presence makes us feel privileged. Welcome to you sir on behalf college
management, faculty, students and myself.

We are glad to have Hon’ble Prof Dr. P Ishwara Bhat, Vice Chancellor,
Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi with us today. Sir your
presence here today encourages us to do better and host many such events
in coming days. I would like to welcome you on behalf college management,
faculty, students and myself. Welcome to the event sir.

This event is possible because of the participation and support given to us


by other law colleges from all over the state. When we sent invitations to all
other institutions, they not only agreed to participate but ensured their
support to us. This boosted our energy to conduct the event of this scale.
Hence it’s my pleasure to invite principals of the colleges, Faculty and
students who are present here with us today. We welcome you all for today’s
seminar.

Warm welcome to students from various institutions and participants who


have come from far places to attend this event today. It is our pleasure to
have you all here.

I would also like Welcome Friends from various media houses who are
present here today with us. Your support and good wishes always makes us
feel motivated.
A special welcome to Smt. Renuka Raju, President, Law Wings
Educational trust, Shri Prasanna V Raju, Managing Trustee, Law Wings
Educational trust and other members of the management, Faculty,
Volunteers, Students and support staff of Bengaluru Law college to this
event. We are a team and will always work towards new achievements. It
was next to impossible to conduct event of this scale without you all. I
extend a heartfelt welcome to you all.

I request all the students to make best use of the opportunity and use
valuable resources available today at the seminar to expand knowledge of
the domain. As students of law and budding lawyers it is important to know
value of the subject human rights. Hope you all enjoy your day here with us.

only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of
Knowledge, Experience and ability”
