My name is Nikhat Zabi. I and Shrishti will your moderator for the day.

It is a great honour for me to introduce and welcome our guest of the day.
Equal Sir merely requires any introduction, though. He is well known for his work in the field of
legal education. Moreover, he is profoundly loved and respected by his readers especially the
youth on whom he has got great influence due to his character and short stories.

The Members of the Pro Bono club are thankful to you for taking the time out of your busy
schedule to attend the function.

Today we also have Faizan-ur Rehman Sir with us. Sir, you are an inspiration for many as the
accomplishments that you have made are not an easy task. You have dedicated your precious
time to providing education to many students and have assured that the students get all the
facilities that would help them grow into better people.

I would like to congratulate all the participants for qualifying for the preliminary round. I wish
good luck to all the participants for the main round. Also, I pray that you all may do your best.

Before proceeding with the main round, I would like to introduce you all to the Pro Bono club.

Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon'ble Minister for Law & Justice, launched the Pro bono legal
services scheme in April 2017. It aims to integrate law students from various universities
across the country to better the efficiency and quality of Pro Bono legal services. It helps
in enhancing ‘access to justice for marginalized sections and fulfils the constitutional mandate
to provide 'free legal aid' to all.

Here, selected law students (known as 'Pro Bono Associates' or PBA) are part of Pro Bono
clubs attached to law schools. Under this, the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia has
been integrated under NAYAYA BANDU (Pro Bono legal services) PROGRAMME by the
Ministry of Justice, Government of India.

As you all are eagerly waiting for the main round, I would now like to invite ______ our quiz
master for the day.

We know that everyone here is waiting for the results. The results will be out soon.
We are very grateful to Eqbal Sir for accepting our invitation and marking his presence here. I
now enlighten the audience with his words.
