Good morning,

One & all who present here to attend this one day Nattional Seminar being organized on a very pertinent and
relevant topic, “Role of Youth in Environment Conservation.” Being the heads of this prestigious institution I
feel privileged to welcome our distinguished Resource Persons, representatives of Ved Mata Gayatri Jan Kalyan
Samiti & Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, our own faculty members and above all dear students.

Firstly, I extend a warm welcome to our distinguished resource persons, Sh Manju Nath Ji (New Delhi), who
has travelled over a long distance which shows that how much he is concerned about the environment protection
and share his vies with the youth of this far flung area of the State. I also extend hearty welcome to Sh. Gian
Chand Rayta (Shimla) and Sh. Rakesh Sharma (Rohru) who have graciously agreed to share their expertise
and insights with us today. Your presence as resource person will certainly add value to our discussions &
deliberations in this seminar. Your wealth of knowledge and experience will undoubtedly enrich our
understanding about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the realm of environmental conservation.

This seminar in the College is being organized in collaboration with two NGOs i.e. Ved Mata Gayatri Jan
Kalyan Samiti (Rohru) and Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (New Delhi). The representatives of these NGOs Sh. Rakesh
Sharma, Sh. Puneet Kumar Jhamta are among us. They deserve applause and appreciation to take initiative to
organize the seminar in our college on this pertinent theme and provide financial support to us in organizing the
seminar.

I also welcome representatives from electronic media Sh. Rajender Tyagi Ji and D.D. Justa Ji.

In next order, I extend my heartfelt welcome to the young and vibrant participants (the students of this college)
who have gathered over here in large number. As young minds, you bear the responsibility for the future. I call
upon you, to actively engage in the discussions, ask questions, and share your perspectives.

Environmental conservation is a collective responsibility. Each one of us, regardless of our age, sex, caste,
creed and religion, has a role to play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our planet. This seminar
provides a platform for us to collectively explore ideas, share experiences, and inspire one another to take
meaningful action. This is a momentous occasion for us, as we come together to deliberate on a topic that is not
only pertinent to our present but crucial for the future of our planet.

Our rich ancient & traditional culture; use to call The Mother Earth, Surya Devta, Ganga Ma…

I encourage you all of you, particularly the young ones, to actively engage in the discussions, ask questions, and
share your perspectives. May this seminar serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for each of us to go
out and make a difference in the world. Remember, the actions we take today will shape the world we live in
tomorrow.

Once again, a warm welcome to our resource persons and participants. I wish a fruitful and enlightening time
ahead.
