FEEDING PROGRAM NARRATIVE REPORT

Feeding Program at Sta. Cruz High School was implemented to developed and enhance learner
to their performance and abilities and prevent from any kind of disease and illness that
malnourished children encounter. In order to intensify health and nutrition among student as per
headed with Nutrition Coordinator in running targeted supplementary feeding program for
wasted and severely wasted student in this school as a teacher we have to promote and improve
their health progress by means of preparing a healthy and nutritious food for them and discuss
the importance of eating the right kind of food and drinking eight glasses of water to become
healthy and active in doing our work.
Feeding program gives a very important especially to those students who are malnourished and
cannot afford to buy the food in the canteen it can give benefits to them to enhance their growth
and development as well as the progress in learning. As a teacher it is our responsibilities to our
student to guide and teach them the healthy lifestyle and proper hygiene like washing our hands
and brushing our teeth before and after we eat to prevent from bacteria and microorganism on
the food that we eat.
Sta. Cruz High School assess the BMI of student and the result of this are almost grade 7 student
have wasted and severely wasted in the nutritional status.
