1.0 Introduction
 The spelling bee competition of SJK(C) Khiu Min is organized by the English Language
Panel. The competition aims at encourage Years 1 to 3 pupils to strive for excellence in
spelling skills.

1st July 2019 – 4th July 2019

3.0 Time
7:45 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

4.0 Venue
Year 1, 2 and 3 classrooms

5.0 Objectives
5.1 Encourage pupils to explore and study the English language and its roots.
5.2 Help pupils to learn to spell quickly and accurately.
5.3 Promote pupils’ knowledge of proper spelling.

Contributions from the Parent Teacher Association and the School Board of Governors.
9.0 Conclusion
The spelling bee competition is a great way to generate interest in spelling.
