Second Grade Parent Newsletter #4

This week we are reading all about space exploration. Please practice
our new spelling words. This list is linked to our phonics lesson, diagraphs
ch, tch, sh,th, wh, and sight words. Also, practice and read spelling
sentences for test on Friday.

Spelling Homework:

Complete the 4 page spelling packet throughout the week

Scholastic book order will be closed out on . 25th.

Hand the completed packet in on September 26th

Be ready for the test on Friday, September 27th

Reading Homework Envelopes with instructions will continue to
come home Monday-Thursday. Please complete envelope job each
night, initial calendar in envelope and return the next day.

September Social Studies: Conflict Resolution, Constitution, Preamb

We will be going on a Field Trip Nov. 8th to Dutch Apple Dinner
Theatre. Details and information will be coming in the future.
However, Chaperone guidelines regarding clearances are being
sent home for you to look at!

