Eligibility
Players with Elo 2000 and above only (as per February,2018 and the subsequent rating
lists). A few players below 2000 rating may also be allowed at the discretion of the
Organising Committee.

2300-2399 : Rs. 6,000/-
2200-2299 : Rs. 8,000/-
2000-2199 : Rs. 10,000/-

Entries with late fine of Rs. 500/- : 12th May,2018

No request towards waiver of entry fee or late fine will be entertained.

Tournament Rules
System of Play:
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with
9 rounds.

Time Control:
90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment from move 1 for the entire game.

Tie-Break:
In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come into effect. (The cash prizes, however, will
not be shared).

Accommodation
All GMs will be provided free Hotel / Guest House accommodation on double sharing basis.
All other players will be provided free Hotel / Guest House accommodation on double /
triple sharing basis.

Players having career Elo Rating of 1999 and below for the last 3 years are only eligible to
participate.

All the entries are to be forwarded along with entry form and entry fee by DD favouring

It is mandatory to forward the entry form in the given format along with the prescribed entry
fee for accepting the entries. The Organising Committee has the right to accept or reject
any entry without assigning any reason.

 AICF Registration
All Indian players must be registered with AICF for the year 2018-19 before the registration
deadline to participate in the tournament. All players should forward proof of registration
along with entry. Those who are not registered with AICF, should forward their duly filled
AICF registration form with registration fee along with the Tournament Registration Form.

BCA Registration
All the players from West Bengal must be registered with Bengal Chess Association for the
year 2018-19.
