 RULES AND REGULATIONS:
System of play: The latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed
Time Control: Rapid: 25 Min. +15 Sec. Inc. From 1st Move
Tie break: Buchholz tie break system will be applied.
AICF Registration (Apr.2022 -Mar.2023):
(i) All Indian players must be registered with AICF for the year 2022-23 before
the registration deadline to participate in the tournament.
(ii) Those who not registered with AICF, required to do AICF registration online at
http://prs.aicf.in/players before sending their registration.

Electronic Devices: All types of electronic devices / wrist watches will not be allowed
in the playing arena.
Protest: Protest, if any, against the decision of the Arbiter shall be made in writing
with a protest fee of Rs.500/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident.
Protest fee will be refunded if the appeal upheld.
Appeals Committee: Before the commencement of the tournament, appeals
committee will be formed from the senior participants present at the players
meeting, the appeals committee decisions will be final and binding.
Rights of admission: The AICF/TNSCA/CGDCA /Organizer(LCA)/CMI will reserve the
rights of admission to the venue.
Withdrawal: A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the
chief arbiter in writing.
Cash Prizes: Cash prizes will not be shared. One player will get one higher Cash prize
only.

Certificate: Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants after the

prize distribution function.

Covid protocol: All the participants must follow the latest COVID Protocol as stated
by Government of Tamilnadu & India.

No Accommodation will be provided.

Last date for entry: 31.01.2023 - 9.00pm
