Austen Assignment Sheet: Spring 2014

Welcome to our study of Jane Austen’s “light, bright, and sparkling” masterpiece, Pride and
Prejudice. We’ll read, discuss, and have some short writings along the way (one in-class
writing, three course page entries, and a final paper). Each day, one student will be responsible
for writing a recap of class discussion and posting it to the course page. Finally, we’ll watch
some of the A&E movie. (Sorry, Keira Knightley fans. Colin Firth is just too awesome.)
