TUTORIAL I.

Topic: Pronouns: Using My and Your

II.

Objectives: At the end of the session the pupil will be able to: Identify the usage of My and Your. Create sentences using My and Your. Develop the importance of using My and Your on the things owned.

Subject Matter: English

Instructional Materials: Pictures related to the topic (Drawn and colored in a cartolina and manila paper)

V.

Learning Activities: A. Review a.) Recall the pupil about the personal pronouns they have learned previously (I, He, She). b.) Tell the pupils to create sentences using those previous personal pronouns. At least 3 pupils. c.) If those 3 sentences are correct, the teacher will now introduce My and Your.

B. Lesson Proper 1. Introduce the pupil about the usage of My and Your using the things they owned. a.) Select a pupil to describe a thing that he/she owns. b.) The pupil will now describe the thing that his/her classmate owns.

c.) Praise the pupil after describing.

2. Demonstration a.) Post pictures and manila papers about the topic My and Your. b.) Tell the pupils to read the sentences in the manila paper. c.) Explain in the class the usage of My and Your as pronouns in referring things that we own and not. d.) Ask the pupil if what personal pronoun will use in referring things that he/she owns. e.) Then, if what personal pronoun will use in referring things that other owns.

3. Activity a.) The teacher will select 2-3 pupils to create a sentence using My in referring the thing that he/she owns through oral participation. b.) Another pupil to create a sentence using Your in referring the thing that his/her classmate owns through oral participation. c.) Give 5 items written activity in the notebook about using My and Your in completing a sentence. d.) The teacher and the pupils will check all together the activity. e.) For mastery, the teacher will give 5 items about the topic as an assignment.

Learning Activities: A. Review a.) Ask the pupil about the new two pronouns introduce to them. ( My and Your) b.) Introduce the story The Woodcutter which is related to the last topic.

B. Lesson Proper 1. Introduce the story entitled The Woodcutter. a.) Let the pupils read the title aloud.

2. Listen to the story of the teacher. a.) Discuss the story to the pupils.

3. Answer the following questions about the details of the story: a.) Who is Mang Ben? b.) What is the work of Mang Ben?

c.) Where did the axe of Mang Ben fell? d.) What kind of axe does Mang Ben have? e.) How many axe did Mang Ben received through the help of the man in the lake? f.) What reward did Mang Ben receive because of his honesty?

4. Reflect with the pupils about the importance of honesty in our daily life after reading the story.
