Semi-detailed Lesson Plan in MTB-MLE

I. Objectives:

Students should be able to do the following at the end of the


lesson:

1. Recognize the sequence in an event.


2. Organize sequence of events in a story.
3. Write a short story that implies sequencing.

II. Subject Matter

c. Materials: Picture, pencil

III. Procedure
A. Preparatory Activities/Preliminary Activities
1. Energizer
- The teacher will lead a song to the students.

2. Review
- The teacher will ask the students about the previous
lesson.
Ask:
“What is our lesson last meeting?”

3. Motivation
- The teacher will show and read a short story.
(Motive Question/s)
Ask:
“What is the story about?”
“What is the lesson of the story?”

4. Drill
- The teacher will give a vocabulary game.
- The students will give the antonyms, synonyms and the
meaning of the given word.

B. Developmental Activities
1. Lesson proper
- The teacher will present the story about “Si Dalia ang
Batang dili mokaon ug Gulay.”
- The teacher will do unlocking of problems.
- The story will be read aloud in the class by the teacher.
- The teacher will explain the lesson.

2. Generalization
- Is vegetable important? How important is it?
- What are the benefits of eating vegetables in our body?
- The teacher will explain the function of each vegetable.

3. Application
- The teacher will provide a picture of different kinds of
vegetables.
- The students will identify the names of each vegetable.
- The teacher will facilitate the activity.

IV. Evaluation
Direction: Draw three vegetables and write about the benefits of each
in our body.

V. Assignment
Direction: Draw and color five vegetables and identify what benefits
they each provide. Do it on your notebook.
