Pre-Lesson Warm up 21st Century Learning Activity:

• Teacher draw a school timetable template. Critical Thinking
• Teacher asks the pupils to look at their timetable.
• Pupils fill in English subject in the appropriate slots of the
timetable by writing the words.
• Ask the pupils what subjects they would like to have more hours
of and what subjects they would like to have less hours of.
Encourage them to justify their answer.

Lesson Introduce the characters and read the story 21st Century Learning Activity:
Development • Teacher introduces the characters in the story. Critical Thinking
• Ask pupils to read the story quietly, on their own. [M.S. 3.3.1]

Understanding the main ideas Formative Assessment:

• Ask pupils some questions on what happened in each plot. Questioning

Rearrange the plots

• Teacher distributes the worksheet.
• Pupils complete the task by completing the flow map.

• Call a few volunteers to perform a role-play based on the story.
