1.SPEED

>the ability to perform a movement or cover a distance in a short period of time.

2.POWER

> the ability to move the body parts swiftly while applying the maximum force of the
muscles. >a combination of both speed and muscular strength.

Push-ups
3.BALANCE

>the ability to control or stabilize the body when a person is standing still or moving.

Sample Exercise:

Skating

4.AGILITY

> the ability to change and control the direction and position of the body while
maintaining a constant, rapid motion.

Sample Exercise:

Single-Leg Forward Hop


5.COORDINATION

> the ability to move two or more body parts under control, smoothly and efficiently.

Sample Exercise:

Standing Balance with Ball Tosses

6.REACTION TIME

> refers to the speed at which an athlete responds to an external stimulus.

>relates directly to agility but is a smaller component of physical fitness.

Sample Exercise:

Boxing
