MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN (BCPC)
OF LIBOTON HELD ON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 12, 2016, 9:00 A.M. LIBOTON BARANGAY HALL, LIBOTON, NAGA
CITY.

I CALL TO ORDER

 The meeting formally called to order at 9:30:00 a.m. after having mustered a quorum, B/Kgd. Ma.
Esperanza Abante presided the meeting.

II PRAYER

 B/Kgd. Ma. Esperanza Abante led the opening prayer.

IV AGENDA
The committee Chair on Children is very delightful because the BCPC Officers and members presence are
almost completed on this BCPC meeting aside from the others were given consideration such as ( Principal
) Mrs. Francia Dimaculangan have classes today ,Charito Rosales do some important errands and Merla
Cea .The committee chair stated the body that many Saturdays she informed and sent communication letter
to everyone for the bcpc meeting twice but unfortunately it’s never push through ,no one comes and she
gave consideration for the reason every one is busy. She informed everyone that last Friday October 7,
2016, City Councillor Elmer Baldemoro called a meeting on committee on Children which B/Kgwd Abante
represented the barangay Liboton

1. FIRST AGENDUM : Childrens Re-organization

-The Committee chair is really like to re-organize another set of BCPC children new officers ranging from
10 to 14 years old, she already called for a meeting and informed but no one came though the officers
and members are well informed like the BHW even at the flag ceremony all the Tanod and personnel to
bring their children to join and come on Saturday for the coming Childrens month celebration, as she
chose the Saturday because she knew all children can come which is free from their weekdays classes in
school but rather she considerate them because everyone are busy.
 She is reminding the body that every year there is always evaluation for BCPC and they are very lucky
because last children month they got a P50,000.oo worth of project which until now are not yet claim
because before they knew the barangay council will do the resolution but the Committee chair was
currently known just this meeting last friday , it was change ,the resolution should be done by the BCPC
officers itself .The Committee chair will show and read by them the content of the resolution once she
made it which she only told them about the requirements on how to claim the prize. She informed that
the P50,000.00 will be transfer to the barangay and the BCPC will be the one will buy the important
things that are intended, can be used and benefited by the childrens such as event ,affairs ,gathering ,
activity programs. She asked the body about what they want to buy from the P50,000.00 one of them is
the Aircon,she been talked to Tchr. Renee about the aircon in educare which is already repaired the
problem and now it ‘s working . She scheduled again the re- organization of children this coming
Saturday October 15, 2016 8am to be held at the barangay hall and she is now assuming that there is
assurance from the parents , personnel and tanod to invites more children so everything get finalized
including the free white t.shirts to be imprinted so before she leave all are properly done eventhough
shes not around the co-chairman Committee on youth B.kgwd Che Nero will assist.

2. SECOND AGENDUM : Activities schedules on Childrens month celebration

The committee chair stated the Childrens month celebration last year was November so they still have an
ample time for them to prepares.

November 5, 2016 lakaw para sa kaakian

All will wear the imprint white t.shirt and join the Lakaw Para sa Kaakian 5:30am at Plaza quezon.The
committee chair asked a favor to please bring the parents to assist their 10 years old children and also
wear a white t.shirts or they can imprint their t.shirt free at the Lingkod barangay office. They are goin to
meet 5am will start at Plaza Quezon.
November 9, 2016- Free Child Birth Registration
8am to 5 pm. There are Free child birth registration , adults and oldies are welcome to register .The
notarization and correction of birthdays or spelling of names are not allowed .
November 16, 2016 Educare got talent
1pm. There is Educare Got Talent at SM Naga .It was decided that they will get 5 pairs /10 kids boys
and girls because the Committee chair thought if they will get only 1 kid to participate it would might
have tantrums and will not perform on the stage because of nervous and shyness they feel ahead because
the kid are no company to present on the satge. She advice the educare teachers to choose the childrens
that will participate on that activity who has a willingness and not shy.The participants will practice here
at the barangay hall.
November 19, 2016- Childrens Congress
8am to 5pm There will be a children congress only the ten (10 ) officers only will attend.
November 25, 2016 Childrens Report
8am – there is state of the childrens report. all bcpc officers will attend.

The committee chair topic about the plan to buy a sound system which was talk about before but it would
finalized today .the body decided to buy for the project ;
a. 1- set of Sound system(.MIKECROHONE, DVD PLAYER ,SPEAKER,) TV 24INCHES to follow(IF THERES EXTRA
BUDGET FROM THE P50,000.00
b. CHAIR AND WOOD TABLE OF Ms. Aleen
Others concerned:
1. SAFTEY BOX – Tchr R. Eborde included in the meeting about the barangays main switch which seen by
the visitor from the City Hall told them to make a safety box for the safety also of teachers and
childrens at educare center that until now have no action.Committee chair told them to inform the
committee chair on education B/Kgwd V. Gomez so he can able to speak out about that to the session
or she can tell this matter to B/Kgwd Luntok for the immediate action.
2. WHITE T.SHIRT FOR BCPC OFFICERS AND MEMBER
Mr. Ronaldo Punzalan suggesting not only the childrens would have a free tshirts but also include the
bcpc officers and members and the Committee chair granted the said request.
the committee chair pleads to the members that all childrens always encourage or be active
to join any childrens activity because there is always evelauation specially from the edcucare
student that is why there is educare got talent. On November there are so many vacant
date, jst standby there will gonna have an activity in the barangay
 3. TRICK OR TREATS
Teacher N.Aubreu informed the committee chair that the educare students are having trick or treats
on the holloween she would like to ask if she can inform the person that children can able to go their
house .
4. Teacher R.Aborde also informed that on October 20, 2016 the educare student have a tour in Albay.
Committee chair stated that any activity that educare have should write a letter informing the
barangay council and especially the committee chair on education B .Kgwd V.Gomez.
5. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON LAKAW PARA SA KAAKIAN.
The Committee chair informed that there is no age limit for the children unless they are schooling at
the educare center.They are going to set the schedules of inductions on the second meeting, the
more contingent for the Lakaw para sa kaakian is better ,Two barangays won because their barangay
stabilize a big school especially barangay Calauag and Penafrancia. On the meeting last Friday she told
Councillor Elmer Baldemoro during the contest that they should separate the barangays who have a
big school due to unfair also to the other barangay doesn’t have .

Councillor E.Baldemor will write a letter that they can represent their schools (school category).she
pleads the educare teachers to tell parents to join and inform them on our meeting who will really
come so they can finalized how many t.shirt they will goin to imprint.She reminding every body to
come and tell others on October 16, 2016 4pm for the General Assemby to be held at th ePeople’s
freedom hall.

IX ADJOURNMENT

 Since there were no more topics to be discussed, the sessions formally adjourn at 11:00AM on
motion made by B/KGWD C.Nero & duly seconded by N.Abreu.
