CURUG CIPANJI CIWIDEY

Cipanji Waterfall is one of the waterfalls in the Ciwidey area. Cipanji Curug
is located quite hidden and is still not widely known. Therefore, this waterfall is
one of the hidden paradise tourist destinations in Ciwidey. The uniqueness of
Cipanji Waterfall is one of them is located in the middle of a very wide tea
plantation. Before arriving at Cipanji Waterfall, you will pass a stretch of tea
plantations that have beautiful views.

The reason why this waterfall is named as Cipanji Waterfall is because this
waterfall is located at the foot of Mount Cipanji. Actually at the foot of Mount
Cipanji there are many waterfalls, but because of its hidden location and very
difficult road access, then this new Cipanji waterfall can be visited.

When compared with other waterfalls that only have one stream of
waterfalls. Cipanji Waterfall is very unique, because it has 4 streams of waterfalls,
one of which is a smooth flat stone with a length of 5 m, and can be used as a slide
for a water slide on a water park.

This Cipanji waterfall has a different height between one waterfall and
another waterfall. The highest has a height of about 25 m and is on the highest
ladder. This highest waterfall is called Cipanji Curug. Another uniqueness of this
waterfall is the clarity of water that falls from the top of a cliff and is very cold,
which makes the magnet for visitors to come to this hidden place.

Facilities for Cipanji Ciwidey Waterfall

In terms of facilities, Cipanji waterfall can be said to have minimal public


facilities. This is because the Cipanji waterfall area has not been managed
officially by the government or even the village administrators. In the Cipanji
waterfall area there are no public facilities such as toilets, ponds, prayer rooms or
parking lots.

For those of you who bring a vehicle, you can park the vehicle in a house that
has a shop. Also in this place you can ride to go to the toilet. However, when it is
almost up to Cipanji waterfall and in the middle of the forest, there is a small shop
that sells several kinds of food and soft drinks.

Because the natural tourist area of Cipanji Waterfall has not been officially
managed by the government or even the village administrators. So this place has
not yet been applied to the ticket levy system or free. So, to be able to enjoy all
the natural beauty in this place, you only need to have a vehicle and gasoline.
Besides being free, this place is still very anti-mainstream.

Administratively, Cipanji Waterfall is located in Tenjolaya Village, Pasir


Jambu District, Bandung Regency, and West Java Province, Indonesia.

Route to Curug Cipanji Ciwidey


Cipanji Waterfall is about 35 Km from Bandung City. To be able to reach
Cipanji Waterfall can be accessed by using two-wheeled vehicles or four-wheeled
vehicles. However, in some places when almost arrived at Curug Cipanji the road
will be increasingly badly damaged and rocky. So, if you want to use a four-wheeled
vehicle or car so you don't use a short car or sedan.

The route to Cipanji waterfall can be taken from the direction of Bandung to
the Ciwidey area, South Bandung. The following is a short route that can be used
as a benchmark: Bandung City - Leuwi Panjang - Kopo Sayati - Katapang - Soreang -
Pasir Jambu (Passing through Rumah Makan Sindang Reret).

The easiest benchmark to visit Cipanji Waterfall is to drive the vehicle


towards Ciwidey Square. Before Ciwidey Square there was Rumah Makan Sindang
Reret. Not far from the restaurant there is a left crossing towards the Cipanji
waterfall area. And at the intersection there is a small signpost that shows the
direction to Cipanji waterfall.

After walking down the road from the intersection of the main highways,
then you will find a rocky road to Tenjolaya Village. From the village, look for a
house that has a small shop to park the vehicle. Next, the trip is a 3.5 Km walk,
passing through a beautiful tea plantation and pine forest.
