Effective Visual Management and real time Communication is vital to successful and safe
Control of Work activity which involves everyone in every area. Control of Work Boards were
designed to provide a key part of this communication.

For use in main departments and individual areas

For use in the smallest areas where normal


application would be for Permit to Work /
Authority to Work only. Examples include
laboratory.

Extension Boards

• Where specialist isolation


equipment is required in an area, or
there is routinely a requirement for
a greater number of padlocks than
is provided by the standard board,
Extension Boards are installed to
accommodate the equipment.
• Developed by one of our Graduate
Engineers at Ledbury Cider Mill, and
adopted as a UK standard.
