PROJECT WORK CLASS X (2019-20)

TOPIC : CONSUMER RIGHTS

The students are required to undertake a project on ‘Consumer Awareness’. Each student will
research and study various aspects of consumerism like consumer exploitation in the market,
consumer rights, movements etc., and submit the project report. Students may go out for
collecting data and use different primary and secondary resources to prepare the project.

Following essentials are required to be fulfilled for the preparation and submission of project:

1. The total length of the project report will be 10- 15 pages.

2. The project report will be handwritten and credits will be awarded to original ideas,
drawings, illustrations and creative use of material and drawings.
3. The project is to be presented in a neatly bound simple folder.
4. The project report will be developed in the following sequence:

 Cover page showing project title, student information, school and year.
 List of contents
 Acknowledgements and preface
 Introduction
 Chapters/Topics with suitable headings
 Conclusion ( Brief summary and suggestions on findings)
 Bibliography

5. Allocation of marks- The distribution of marks over different aspects relating to project
work is as follows:
