    SOCIAL SCIENCE PROJECT WORK

    CLASS IX (2023-24)

    1. Every student has to compulsorily undertake one project on Disaster Management.

    2. Students have to cover at least two Disasters and their Mitigation Mechanisms.

    3. The project file must consist of 5-6 pages including 1st page with all the required details of a student, 2nd page
    acknowledgment, 3rd page Index, and the last page of summary so on.

    4. Objectives of Disaster management:


    ● create awareness in them about different disasters, their consequences and management
    ● prepare them in advance to face such situations
    ● ensure their participation in disaster mitigation plans
    ● enable them to create awareness and preparedness among the community.

    5. If possible, various forms of art can be integrated in the project work.

    6. The distribution of marks over different aspects relating to Project Work is as follows:
