1. Identify the different greetings and polite expressions
2. Demonstrate how to introduce oneself in front of the class and to
other people through a role-play presentation
3. Appreciate the importance of polite expressions through a role play
presentation and watching a video clip
The learners will know that greeting and using polite expressions are
essential in their day-to-day activity because it shows respect to the
people they are interacting with. Also, they need to learn how to
introduce themselves so that people will be able to know their names,
age, etc. or get information from them whenever they get lost in a place
(malls, parks, etc.). And they can also use this in order to gain friends.
Through this lesson, the learners will be able to learn the value of
friendship. That sometimes, you need to make the first move in order to
know somebody (introducing oneself). Sometimes, they also need to
admit their mistakes and accept the apology of the people who have
wronged them (polite expressions). And sometimes, it’s good to greet
the people you encounter with to show respect to them (Using different
greetings)

TUESDAY
